Covid-19 Coverage

We recommend that you fully understand what travel insurance coverage entails in the event that your trip is interrupted due to Covid-19 in any capacity. Please note, travel insurance will not cover any cancelations due to “fear of Coronavirus.”

Medical Insurance

The Room includes secondary medical insurance in your trip through Cultural Insurance Services International (CISI). Coverage includes up to $50,000 in medical & evacuation insurance.

Covid-19 related sickness is fully covered and only valid when the member is outside of their home country. In the event that a member is infected with the virus while on The Room trip, testing, medication, doctor visits/hospitalization are fully covered under the policy. If deemed medically necessary, medical evacuation will also apply. COVID-19 testing is only covered if the member is sick or showing symptoms. It is not covered for preventative measures.
