Having sat at many executive leadership tables, she knows first-hand what executives want and the skills & abilities required to succeed at various levels in the organisation.

Stemming from reflections during a job loss and a passion to see senior professionals successfully manage difficult career transitions, she became a Certified Executive coach at the UK’s Academy of Executive Coaching (AoEC) and has coached many emerging leaders, aspiring C-Suite executives, high-performing teams, start-up entrepreneurs & business leaders across the globe.

She recently founded ‘Coachivate’; a platform and practice that delivers career transition coaching solutions that help mid to senior-level executives develop the right mindset to land their next role and the skillset to create impact in Senior level/C-suite positions. She also hosts the weekly ‘The Executive Mindset’ room on Clubhouse – an audio social media app.

Folake is also a Certified NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Coach, a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach and a member of various professional associations including the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).

MESSAGE FROM

Our Founder

I believe that those of us who are privileged enough to be educated, healthy, and part of powerful networks should not be doing easy things. The only way to justify our privilege is to do the hard things that society demands of us — to solve tough problems and create opportunities for others. I launched The Room to bring the most ambitious ‘doers’ together to do these hard things that will change the world. I welcome you to be a part of our story and join this global community as we make history together.
