Joshua Hoffman

Joshua Hoffman, an experienced software engineer and tech leader, has been helping Amsterdam startups to build and scale their tech teams and production since 2015. As an early Red Hat engineer, Joshua consulted for organizations across North America, Europe, and Asia, and created Red Hat’s award-winning Virtual Training platform. He subsequently served as Director of Infrastructure for Tumblr, leading the team that built Tumblr’s open-source data centre automation tool, Collins. He later joined SoundCloud, where he served as Technical Director, leading the team that created the popular open-source metrics platform Prometheus. He worked as CTO for Blendle and helped lead the company to a successful exit.  He now works for Sharpist as their VP of Engineering.
